The following scope is aligned before an order. Inspection, documentation, packaging, transport and lead time are governed by the confirmed quotation, technical agreement and order documents.

Material designation, standard, dimensions, tolerances, surface condition and required documents are reviewed during quotation. State any material certificate, third-party inspection or special testing requirement in the inquiry; the final scope is confirmed in writing.

Packaging is selected for the product form, dimensions, weight, surface protection and handling conditions. Specify moisture protection, rust prevention, edge protection, pallets, cases, strapping or marking requirements for confirmation with the quotation.

The transport plan is assessed against destination, cargo volume, dimensions, loading limits and trade terms. Container, consolidated or break-bulk options are confirmed after the destination port and carrier conditions are reviewed.
