H13 hot-work tool steel is an air-hardening, versatile chromium-molybdenum alloy tool steel widely used in hot-work and cold-work tooling applications. It offers good toughness, thermal strength, thermal fatigue resistance, wear resistance, and low heat treatment distortion. Applications: commonly used to manufacture die casting dies for aluminum castings, hot extrusion dies, piercing tools, mandrels, and press forging dies.
