Material overview

Alloy C-276 is a solid-solution-strengthened nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy containing a small amount of tungsten. Like many other nickel alloys, it possesses ductility and is easy to form and weld. This alloy is used in most industrial environments where aggressive chemical media cause other alloys to fail.

Industries and Applications

Alloy C-276 is frequently used across many industries. Applications include stack liners, ducting, dampers, scrubbers, flue gas reheaters, heat exchangers, reaction vessels, evaporators, transfer piping, and many other highly corrosive applications.

Order planning / Confirmed per inquiry

Quality and delivery arrangements

The following scope is aligned before an order. Inspection, documentation, packaging, transport and lead time are governed by the confirmed quotation, technical agreement and order documents.

01

Quality & documents

Material designation, standard, dimensions, tolerances, surface condition and required documents are reviewed during quotation. State any material certificate, third-party inspection or special testing requirement in the inquiry; the final scope is confirmed in writing.

02

Packaging

Packaging is selected for the product form, dimensions, weight, surface protection and handling conditions. Specify moisture protection, rust prevention, edge protection, pallets, cases, strapping or marking requirements for confirmation with the quotation.

03

Transport

The transport plan is assessed against destination, cargo volume, dimensions, loading limits and trade terms. Container, consolidated or break-bulk options are confirmed after the destination port and carrier conditions are reviewed.

04

Delivery

Lead time is calculated after specification, quantity, processing, inspection, documentation, packaging and logistics are defined. Website content is not a fixed lead-time or inventory commitment; rely on the final order confirmation.
